MacOS Catalina cryosparc localhost web interface issue

Hi

I followed the instruction to install CryoSparc V2.14.2 on my iMac Pro. Upon successful installation (no error messages) when I type cryosparcm start on my MacOS bash shell terminal I get the message:

Starting cryoSPARC System master process…

Then I open the browser (safari, chrome or firefox) and go to http://localhost:39000, I get the following error:

can’t connect to the server

Any idea why I am getting this error?

Thank you

Prash

HI @prash,

As you may have read in our documentation, a requirement for the worker node (which is the same as the master node in a standalone workstation setup) is CUDA, which requires an NVIDIA GPU.

Since as of recent, Apple moved to AMD GPUs, cryoSPARC is not supported on these systems.
