I read " Running cryosparc on Macbook Pro" and MacOS Catalina cryosparc localhost web interface issue.
Can I install and run cryosparc on macbook pro just for basic processing (without GPU requiring extensive classification/refine)?
I installed cryosparc, but I couldn’t open in my macbook pro’s browser.

Hi @dnamkr,
CryoSPARC is specifically designed to run on Linux workstations and HPC clusters, so unfortunately you won’t be able to get too far by installing it on your laptop without a supported GPU (cryoSPARC requires NVIDIA GPUs with CUDA installed).
You can take a look at the prerequisites for installing cryoSPARC in our documentation.
If you don’t have access to a physical workstation with the required hardware you can look into installing cryoSPARC on a virtual machine hosted by a cloud provider such as AWS or Azure.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Regards,
Suhail
