SSD reserve in CryoSPARC v5 cluster config

Hi -

I had a CryoSPARC v4 instance with cluster workers. All worked fine. And then we upgraded to v5.0.2. Which workd fine as well. In the admin interface instance information shows Cache Reserve (MB) 600,000 (600GB, as planned).
Today I had to change submission script a bit. Not the cluster_info.json, just the cluster_script.sh. Made a change, issued cryosparcm cluster connect and… Cache Reserve setting is not there anymore. it is in the cluster_info.json file, but not in the interface. And all the SSD cache is in use, no free space left.

Any ideas / suggestions?

Thank you,

Fil

Hi @filonovd, thanks for reporting this! This is due to a bug in cryosparcm cluster connect that we have fixed in the latest v5.0.3 release, available today. Please update and re-run the cryosparcm cluster connect command. Let me know if you have any further trouble with the Cache Reserve afterwards.

That was the quickest “it will be fixed in our next releases” ever.
