Running cryosparcm update is giving me sustained download speeds of ~100kb/s on a 10 Gb connection. At this rate, it takes hours and hours to update, and I can’t run any jobs while that’s happening.
I had similar with an update last week. Normally the updates download around 17MB/s, but this one just didn’t want to go faster than about 200KB/s. Reinstalling the next day on the same system (all the fun of the 3D flex installs) and it was back to normal speed.
While it might be the structura.bio servers (particularly if lots of people are updating at once) there are so many possible variables; what else is going on on the local network, what is happening on the external connection, routing, backbone… etc, etc.
Might it be possible to wait a few hours and try again?
