Signal subtraction of nanodisc density

Hi,
I was working with a map of transmembrane protein in nanodisc. However, after reaching 4Å map I was wondering if there’s any way to perform signal subtraction to get rid of lateral nanodisc density in CS.
I found a paper’s scheme which showed they could do it in Relion but not sure if and how I can do the same in CS.

Please advise.
