From what I read, it looks like default umask should be 0002 by default. However, I notice that the permissions on the projects and jobs are “drwxrwsr-x”, and the files within the jobs can be either "-rw-r----- " or "-rw-rw-r-- " or “rwxr-s—”. Ideally, we would want “rwxr-s—” (I naively tried to set umask 0027 in the bashrc, but this didn’t seem to help having all permissions set properly for all levels. As is, there are a bunch of folders of files generated by cryosparc which could be modified or deleted by group members. Do you have any suggestion?
