Hello!
Is it possible run a cryosparc instance where some lanes use the built-in master/worker mechanism and other lanes use slurm for workload management?
For context, we are in the process of setting up cryosparc on an HPC cluster that utilizes slurm. Currently, we have some resources that are not scheduled by slurm but do have access to the same shared storage.
Yes, as long as your master instance is networked to both the SLURM cluster and the standalone computers, AND the filesystem paths match where they need to, it’s no issue.
We have a network storage mounted in the same spot on both our SLURM cluster, and our standalone computers, and CryoSPARC works fine with both simultaneously.
