I have to log in to our lab’s cryosparc GPU every so often. I just started a refinement half an hour ago, no problem, then come back and have to log in. I’m on the same wifi network. Is this normal?

This is the expected functionality; cryoSPARC will automatically log you out of a computer after three months and require that you re-authenticate.
