Installation failing: spawn error

Hello,

I am trying to install CryosParc 2.15 in a server with Debian 10, with no success so far. I am not very familiar with Linux either, so I hope some of you guys can help.

I have no error messages during conda installation, and by the end of the process I get:

************ CRYOSPARC SYSTEM: STANDALONE INSTALLER **************

The installer will now download, install and connect the worker
package on this machine. The worker package will allow cryoSPARC
to run compute jobs.

Starting cryoSPARC…

Starting cryoSPARC System master process…
CryoSPARC is not already running.
database: started
command_core: ERROR (spawn error)
Warning: Binary output can mess up your terminal. Use “–output -” to tell
Warning: curl to output it to your terminal anyway, or consider "–output
Warning: " to save to a file.

–> At this point cryosparcm doens’t run at all.

–> I do have other software already installed in this machine, but the priority to me is to have cryosparc working, so if there is anything conflicting that I should remove just le me know.

Also, based on the documentation it is not clear to me if Apache2 has to be running or not during the installation, and if I need to configure the virtualhost for my cryosparc page before the installation or not… but I might also have missed something…

Looking forward to your reply(ies)

OK, finally figured it out, it was related to the proxy trying to resolve localhost (as discussed in Cryosparc installation and web proxy ). Now it is working!
