Imported pose data and 3D refinement

Hi all,

While processing some data with both relion and cryosparc, I got a question about the pose data when importing from relion to cryosparc. When you import particles from relion with the pose data and do some more 3D refinement in cryosparc, (for example import aligned particles from relion and do the NU-refinement) then how does cryosparc use the imported pose data when refining the map? There is an option for ignoring the pose data while importing, and I wonder what will be different and how cryosparc deals with the raw data info.

Pose data is only used in local refinement, CTF refinement, direct reconstruction, and 3DVA. All 2D classification and other types of refinement do global searches ignoring previous alignment data.
