I want to change pixel size before 2D/3D

Hi everyone

I want to change my pixel size before 2D/3D because my data is too big, and the running speed is too slow. Also i want to change to the original size at the end after 3D. How can i do that ? Thanks!

You mean you extracted without downsampling? CryoSPARC automatically downsamples on the fly depending on the resolution you set for 2D/3D/heterogeneous refinement. Currently the only way to change pixel size at the end is with a Validation (FSC) job with Override Pixel Size (A) - if the pixel calibration is too far off, however, it’s much safer (and I, among many, would say it should be mandatory) to reprocess with the correct pixel size, as your CTF estimates will be wrong if the pixel size is wrong.

I actually mean using downsampling but i didn’t know before. I have changed the pixel size and export to relion successfully.
