Gain reference file not available

Hi

I have data that was gain normalized during collection some 2.5years ago and so there is no gain reference file. Can I be able to process this using cryoSPARC?

yes, you can process micrographs that are gain-normalized.

Sure, I’d generally start by following the tutorial https://guide.cryosparc.com/processing-data/cryo-em-data-processing-in-cryosparc-introductory-tutorial guide here. Make sure to add the right values when importing the micrograph files. Hope this helps.

ok, thank you. so basically when I import the data, I just leave the gain reference blank and proceed with all the other parameters in place?
