Failure to connect to license server

I cannot access or the license server from my institution. I am trying to fix this problem with IT but could I get a Certificate Authority (CA) bundle in my workstation as explained in the link below to avoid the system crashing in the middle of runs when failing to connect to the license server?

However, I am a bit mystified about why cryosparc requires constant access to the cryosparc server site when you already have a valid license.
