Extraction job gives different number of particles compare to inspect pick job

Hi,
I am doing particle extraction following inspect pick job. The output particle number is different from inspect pick job. The final number is smaller.

Hi @zhenyu_tan,

This is expected, as the extraction job filters out particles that cannot be extracted due to being picked too close to the edge of the micrograph. If you have wiggle room with your box size, then decreasing the extraction box size and re-extracting the particles from the inspect picks job should retain more.
