I noticed running 3DVar with downsampled particles fails with “psize in alignments not the same…”
Can we use downsampled particles in 3DVar without new alignments? The alignments on the original particles are probably more accurate.

Hi @DanielAsarnow you are correct - downsampling has now been fixed to correctly update particle alignments so this should work in the upcoming version.
Hi all,
In cryoSPARC v3.0, Downsample Particles (and Extract from Micrographs) will now correctly adjust alignment dataset fields when downsampling (or re-extracting) on an aligned particle stack. Thanks!
Best,
