Does the master node need access to project folders?

Quick question: We are considering to migrate the master node to a server which does not have access to the home directories. Will this break the installation?

If with home directories you mean CryoSPARC project directories, critical functions would break without access, such as

  • interactive jobs
  • continuous metadata export from the database to project directories
