Disappeared users account and correspnding data processing record caused by the database error could be recovered?

Hello Team,

I am currently using CryoSPARC v4.6.2. There was a problem with the database configuration a few days ago. Other users deleted some files after the database backup, and the software could be opened normally, but the previous records including accounts have disappeared, may I have a chance to restore the previous data processing records?

Were files deleted from project directories?

Probably not. I think only the database files were changed.

@suqi May I ask a few more questions

  1. Does

    mean that:

    • you have a current backup of the database? Which command did you use?
    • that no data processing was performed on the CryoSPARC instance after the database backup was initiated?
  2. Can you find out from the users’ command histories the full paths and filenames of the files deleted?

  3. Have you implemented safeguards against future improper file deletion?
