An external customer has CryoSparc workstation, and they want to run slurm jobs on our cluster. Our security regulation demand that users will access the cluster only with ssh via a jump host that has MFA authentication. Thus, the simple solution for us would be, that CryoSPARC would be to be able to run a CryoSPARC worker, completely offline on our cluster. In this way, the CryoSPARC lane would create the appropriate sbatch file, and users will then login to our cluster’s gateway and run the sbatch file.
I know that this is not the way CryoSparc normally works. But is it still possible to do that?
