cryoSPARC multi user configration

we are facing challenges with the CryoSPARC application due to Slurm restrictions. Currently, all jobs are being submitted through the cryouser account, whereas we require that jobs be submitted under the individual Unix user who logs in through the portal.

We have successfully installed CryoSPARC on our Rocky Linux cluster integrated with Slurm, using a shared installation path (/apps/cryosparc). At present, the setup operates with a single non-root Unix user, and all jobs are submitted under that user’s home and scratch directories.

For our environment, we now require a multi-user configuration such that:

  • Each user can work within their own home and scratch directories.

  • Users can independently create their own CryoSPARC project directories.

  • Jobs can be submitted seamlessly through the existing Slurm partitions.

Kindly suggest the best approach to enable multi-user access while continuing to use /apps/cryosparc as a shared application path, similar to other HPC applications deployed in our environment.
