I didn’t complain about this before because 3DVA was new at the time, I hoped you guys would notice and fix in a new version. But the problem is still there:
3DVA Display, clusters mode: the interactive 3D plot (which I love) numbers the clusters starting from 1, but in the output they start from 0. OK, this becomes an interesting mental challenge when you have 20 clusters or more to select from, but still… it brings an enormous potential of mistake. Please make the plot start from 0 to match the particles and volumes.
And if I may ask for a feature there: users should be able to change the background color. It is very hard to see the dots of pale clusters. I think a simple black or white background switch would do it.
Plus a more challenging feature: allow users to manually “cut the cake”, defining their clusters by hand in a 3D interface. Maybe a tool like Chimera volume eraser?
