Weird 2D classes with ring structures

Hi all,

Attaching my 2D classes here after three rounds of cleaning.

The first row seems to be following a particular pattern. Overall morphology says its a protein, but the ring pattern inside is reminding me of junk/background.

My protein is an elongated one, having 180A diameter (max). It assumes curved S shapes.

Any help, suggestions will be useful…

overfitting - set resolution limit for alignment and display. if 2D has convinced you that these are your particles of interest, then 2D has done its job and it’s ok to move on. This seems like a very small dataset with no secondary structure features, so I would not expect much success downstream.
