Subset Particles by statistics - cFSC

Hello all,

I’m wondering if there is already a method to filter out particles by their estimated resolution?

Looking at the cFSC plot from local refinement, if I understand correctly, the histogram in green shows particle counts at the estimated resolution. My current refinement shows two (probably three) distribution of particles. I would like to segment or subset these particles based on the cFSC. ie, like subset the particles that have an estimated FSC of 3.66 - 4 and then 4-5 and so on.

If this already, exist, I apologize and could you direct me to the job. TY

That’s not what the green barchart means. Unless I’m completely misunderstanding the implementation, it’s a representation of the the (relative) number of the conical FSCs (out of the 3072 calculated) which cross the FSC=0.143 threshold at that resolution.

For each of those cFSCs, all particles are responsible, but it demonstrates isotropy/orientation issues.
