Hi,
Performing particle extraction on a new GPU workstation is extremely slow - currently running at ~16s per micrograph, parallelized over 4 GPUs (RTX-2080s).
I do not recall it being this slow on my old 2x GPU workstation, so if anyone has any suggestions as to how to track down the config-specific issue that is causing it I’d be most grateful.
Also, it would be fantastic if parallelized CPU-based extraction was available - the GPU-based extraction is fast, but I suspect if one parallelized the CPU-based extraction over say 24 cores it would be just as fast if not faster, while leaving the GPUs available for other tasks.
Cheers
Oli
UPDATE - never mind, I think it was an unrelated long running process that was causing the issue.
