Reconstruction algorithm parameter type during deposition

During wwPDB deposition, it is possible to specify the reconstruction algorithm for the final reconstruction. The option one can choose between are:

  • Algebraic (ARTS)
  • Back projection
  • Exact back projection
  • Fourier Space
  • Simultaneous iterative (SIRT)

Which one of these (if any) are correct if one have used CryoSPARC? Does it differ between e.g. Homogeneous or Non-uniform reconstruction? Several of these seems archaic (I guess they are there for historic reasons) or are only used for tomography data processing.

Good question! The best answers are Fourier space here, and maximum likelihood for refinement.
