Read particle CTF in simulate data broken?

Hi, Simulate Data has an option to read CTF params from an input particle set. It doesn’t seem to work - when an input particle set with CTF params is provided, it gives an error saying that particles must have CTF (even though they do).

Thanks for reporting this! This is a bug in how we check the presence of the alignments3D/CTF slots. As it stands, you will need to supply both alignments3D and CTF slots if the “read CTF” parameter is turned on. The actual pose generation will still respect the “read alignments” parameter (i.e., the poses/shifts in alignments3D will be ignored if it is off so any downstream alignments3D should do). We’ve made of a note of this and will fix!
