Quick resolution comparison before/after CTF refinement

Greeting there,

I have a quick question: after the standalone running of Global/local CTF refinement, how can easily know whether the resolution improved or not? Just Homogeneous reconstruction only with the updated CTF and compare it or have to run another refinement job?

Yes, you can just do homogeneous reconstruction with/without the corrected CTF parameters (using the same mask for both jobs).

However, you may see further improvement on re-refinement (at which point you may also consider iterative on-the-fly refinement of CTF parameters)
