Particles from reference based motion correction to RELION

Hi all,

I’m planning to try the Blush regularization in RELION. However, when I run the job using particles from the RBMC output, the density appears to be reversed.

Additionally, when I attempt to run RELION’s 3D initial model generation, it suggests that the images need normalization.

Can RBMC output particles be used directly in RELION, or is some preprocessing required?

Thank you!

Hey,

I was able to export particles after RBMC to RELION using cs2star. Usually, I run homogeneous or Non-uniform refinement and export the particles from this job.

Usually, I copy the whole particle stack with the following command:

cs2star /path/to/CS/job -p -c

This command will create a particle stack and star file in your current folder.

Best,
Ole
