Particle sets tools, but using "Import movies" output?

Hi everyone,

is it possible to merge / split / etc frames after “Import movies”, the same way as it’s done with particles using “Particle set tool”?
Mostly merge is what I’m interested in, in order to run all the downstream jobs altogether in a similar manner.
