Nvidia RTX 3080 Support

Hi,
I am new to CryoEM and currently in the process of purchasing a new computer with 2 GPUs. The problem is that the RTX 2080 Ti GPU is sold out and seems no longer available. The NVIDIA RTX 3080 is now released, and the blower style Ti version is expected in January.
My question is: Would the current CryoSparc version run with the NVIDIA RTX 3080? If not, would future versions be compatible with this card? If so, when would those become available?

Hi @rpfoh,

The current version of cryoSPARC (v2.15.x) is not compatible with CUDA 11 and thus the RTX 3080. A new version of cryoSPARC will be released within the next few weeks that will add support for the latest version of CUDA and the new cards.
