Dear cryoSPARC community,
I accidentally ran rm -r /dir/CS-xxx. By the time I caught the mistake, ≈ 100 GB had already been erased. I’m now running PhotoRec, but it only recovers raw blobs—no file names or folder structure. Is there any way to resurrect the project, even if I have to re-run some jobs?
@wtempel Hi, wtempel! Can you help me with this issue?
@AsDeadAsADodo do you have any backup of the database ? I’ve had this happen and had to spend some time restoring the database, finding the project, detach, and reimport to the most current - also re-running jobs.
Thanks for the reply Mark! The database is safe, only some files inside my project folder e.g. CS-XXX were deleted.
So far I’m able to create new job by copying cs.lock to my project folder from another project according to this post Restoring lost CryoSPARC data .
Some files I recovered but seems not all of them
