hi, when I doing motion-correction, the default number of output denoise data is 200 and I didn’t notice that.
Is there anyway to curate mic that is with output denoise data data? because some of my mic has serious problem at the deges. I better not using random mic to train a denoise model because they may contain those mics
As an alternative workflow, you can curate 100-200 good micrographs and the re-run Patch Motion Correction on them, so the output can be used for the training.
there is a problem of this.
import movies job can’t be curated, seems like that only patch-motion or patch-CTF job can be curated. directly curating import-movies job will report a mistake.
now, I have only patch motion and patch CTF job on cryosparc. original tif has been deleted to save room. can motion-correted mrc be re-patch-motion again? or should I import tifs again? or is there anyway to curate raw tifs? thanks a lot.
In the micrograph denoise job, there is a parameter “crop micrograph edges” that you can adjust. This should be perfect for your exact issue.
Alternatively, you could import micrographs you know are good using *filename.tif or *.eer (picking a good chunk of artifact free mics). This will be a little bit tedious but you should be able to train on these, then import the rest of your datatset and run the denoise job using your pretrained model.
that’s what i have been done. pity that cryosparc can’t curate mics with denoise data to make this easier
thanks a lot
