Local refinement error - ValueError: operands could not be broadcast

Dear colleagues,

I am trying to do the focused local refinement

But I got the following error after first iteration

Could you please advice how to fix that?

Thank you

Kind regards,
Dmitry

Thank you for reporting this issue.
Did also try the Local Refinement (NEW!) job type and experience this issue?

dear @wtempel I will check that. But my aim is to run the focused refinement as described here

  • so I am not sure if Local Refinement (NEW!) will aid my aim

Sincerely,
Dmitry

Dear @wtempel,

Besides, the local Refinement (New) (as any of the refinements of this type) fails when I don’t use a static mask.

Here is example

Sincerely,
Dmitry

Hi Dmitry,
Please can you share with us the job.log and job.json files for the two failed jobs?
Thanks.

Hi @Dmitry,

Regarding the second error, what was the “Mask (dynamic, static, null)” parameter set to? Are you sure the mask is correctly made (with soft padding) as outlined in our guide?

Best,
Michael

Hi @mmclean – the mask was done as described here Localized mask Creation with Chimera (Segger) - YouTube
For this person everything worked

Kind regards,

but I will check again. Thanks

Hi @Dmitry,

I believe the plotting bug in the legacy local refinement job (mentioned in your original post) should be fixed in patch 211202 for v3.3.1.
