Local motion correction parameter

Hello,

I have a plan to run local motion correction.
I found out ‘Override e/A^2/frame’ input. I’m wondering what it is.
My dataset total dose is 60 e-/A^2, and No. of frame per movie is 60.
So, I will input ‘1’ in ‘Override e/A^2/frame’. Is that correct ?
or is this ‘blank’ ?

Please give me an answer. Thank you for reading.

@shinjw1887 If you do not wish to override that setting during local motion correction, then you may leave “Override e/A^2/frame” blank.
Otherwise, if you specified 60 for “Total exposure dose (e/A^2)” during the import of 60-frame movies, you might want to specify a value for “Override e/A^2/frame”

  • larger than 1 (total exposure dose divided by number of frames) if your sample is more sensitive to radiation damage than the reference sample (see Grant & Grigorieff, 2015)
  • between 0 and 1 if your sample is more resistant to radiation damage than the reference sample
