Local motion correction (multi): automatic extraction box size

Hi,

I noticed that when I do the local motion correction, it automatically does the extraction afterwards, and that I have to enter the box size every time. However, there is the default box size 256, which is weirdly useless and annoying: if the particles I’m working with are larger, it doesn’t fail, but outputs rubbish after some time.

Since I’m providing the particles for the job, couldn’t the default for the extraction box be either their box size, or None so that if I forget to put in the box size, it’d crash?

Hi @marinegor,

This has been fixed in the latest cryoSPARC release; there is no longer a default box size, and If a box size is not provided, the job will crash on start with a reminder message.

Take care,
–Harris
