I was wondering if anyone had some thoughts about the benefits and drawbacks on using the native Cryosparc Local Filtering job vs. DeepEMhancer during post-processing? As I understand it, DeepEMhancer will auto-generate a mask and does not require a local resolution estimation to produce a filtered map, but both DeepEMhancer and Local Filtering will locally sharpen a map according to confidence of the local EM density.
Specifically, I am interested in the best tool for sharpening a structure with a wide distribution of local resolution estimates.
