Importing project/job from an external hard drive

Hi all,
I am trying to import an old job exported and stored on an external hard drive. I read earlier forum discussions on the same and tried several things, but I am unable to import it into my current account. The versions (v5) of the cryosparc are the same. I have not tried the detach and attach option, as I want it to be on both accounts. Is it possible to import those jobs or the entire project? Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Please can you describe the steps/UI functions you have attempted so far and any error messages you observed.
Have you copied the job export directory into the project directory of the “receiving” CryoSPARC project?

I tried the following ways –

  1. First, I created a new project. Later, I tried importing the jobs in this directory. Here, the error message was ‘/data/ankur/Protein_M/CS-apo-0-3mg-ml/J2’ is not in the subpath of ‘/data/ankur/Protein_M/CS-sc3-rk’.
  2. I changed the directory of the new project. The newly created project was now inside the exported job, but it still gave the same error: ‘/data/ankur/Protein_M/CS-apo-0-3mg-ml/J2’ is not in the subpath of ‘/data/ankur/Protein_M/CS-apo-0-3mg-ml/CS-sc3-rk’.

So basically, I did the other way round. I created a new project (receiving) in the same directory of the exported project. I will try what you have suggested and will update it in a short while.
