Imported jobs not recognized as jobs in project overview

Hi,

When I import jobs, they show up in the workspace, but do not appear in the project view or the data management view. Is this intended?

Also, for the purposes of distributing tutorials, I have been exporting/importing jobs. However, it might be more streamlined to export/import a project with multiple workspaces preconfigured.

Based on the guide, it seems that a project must be detached before it can be compressed and then re-attached. Presumably it can then be reattached to multiple instances, is this a valid workflow?

An independent copy of the detached project directory needs to be prepared for attachment to each instance.

Just so I understand, if I have a detached project and tarball it, then just distribute a link to that, that should do the trick? So as folks can then attach a project with some workspaces and jobs already set up, to minimize setup time at a workshop?

Assuming the linked tar ball is downloaded and unpacked for each student in a different directory, yes.
