I am trying to import movies (tif format) and gain (mrc format) and see the following error.

This error is due to the fact that the dimensions of the movies and gain reference do not match. The Import Movies job has three parameters that can help resolve this, by flipping and/or rotating the gain reference file so that the shapes match:
Try experimenting with different flips and rotations until the preview images show correctly.
