Hi,
I’m getting a reconstruction that has the wrong hand and I couldn’t find the way to flip it.

Hi Maria,
You should be able to use the Volume Tools job to flip the structure handedness. If you do not set the threshold parameter, and select the input/output types appropriately it will only flip the structure and do nothing else, as you need.

Hi,
You could flip it on CHIMERA using following command: vop zflip #0
change the number to correspond to the map number on chimera. Then save the flipped 3D map and re-import into cryosparc?
I’m sure there’s a simpler way but this is the method I use.
Best wishes,
Safi
If using UCSF ChimeraX and volume of interest is ID 1 (#1), slightly different syntax in ChimeraX
volume flip #1 axis z
