GSFSC curve gap with and without mask

Hello everyone,

I am currently using cryoSPARC to solve my structure, and so far I got a map at 2.17. After extracting the particles, I separate with 2D classes and Ab-Initio reconstruction, then Homo-Refine and ran Reference Based Motion Correction. Then I used Global/Local CTF refine and Non Uniform Refinement steps to obtain this map. However, during the last Non-Uniform Refinement step, I got this at the end of cycles:

J250_fsc_iteration_003_after_fsc_mask_auto_tightening

My question is: do this gap between “no mask” and “tight” curves is a problem ? Is it something that I should “solve” or decrease ? Or is it normal and ok for publication ? So far, I read that this may be related to extraction box that is too big, so I decreased it to match the size of my particle but he did not really improve. I also check my mask and it is matching my particle size plus a little bit of margin, but not so much.

Is it something problematic, and if yes how can I solve this ?

Thank you very much for your help, have a nice day everyone.

Normal, not problematic
