Would it be possible for an admin to set float16 as the default format for a cryoSPARC instance? A 2X savings in disk space is substantial and I expect many users to forget to toggle this parameter on each time they run motion correction or extraction jobs.

Same request here. It would be great if this could be setup using the configuration file, so users don’t have to remember to set either job or project preferences.
Cosigned - would love to have this as a global default
I’d like to be able to set it globally, but then have a per-user override… although that might be more complex.
Also, I swear someone has asked about this before when mode 12 MRC first landed?
