Filament mode for manual picker? [feature request]

Hi, we have recently been doing some processing of filament data, and manual picking of filaments (to generate initial 2D averages for filament tracer, or training sets for Topaz, DeepPicker or crYOLO) seems rather tedious and error prone.

Would it be possible to add a filament mode to Manual picker, where the user selects the start and end of the segment, and picks are automatically added at evenly spaced points along the segment?

Hi, in the same line, it would be great to be able to import filament’s start-end coordinates for later extraction in cryosparc with desired inter-box distance. If I should open a new feature request for this, please let me know ! Cheers, Ambroise

Yes! Would also be great to have support for the filament picking fork of topaz
