It would be really great if one could clip the volumes in the browser in a similar fashion to the Side View panel of ChimeraX where one defines “near” and “far” clipping planes. I often find myself downloading a volume simply to quickly check various X or Y slices. If something similar would be possible in the browser, that would certainly mean a productivity / efficiency boost.

Would love this too. Alternatively/additionally, a mode that just allows scrubbing through X-Y slices in grayscale/rainbow, no threshold, similar to relion_display would be super helpful, as it allows visualization of patterns/features that can be difficult to pick up with binary thresholding.
Move through slices in X, Y and Z would definitely be a game-changer for ease of visualisation!
