Extract Mics does not retain "Recenter" setting when cloned

When cloning a CPU or GPU Extract Mics job, “Recenter using aligned shifts” will always be set to false, even if the job that it is being cloned from has the option enabled.

Hi @DanGonite57,

I have only been able to reproduce this when working with helical particles. Can you confirm if the particles are in fact helical (i.e. they have the filament slot present)? The extract job builder has special logic for helical particles to prevent re-centering from being enabled by default, but there is currently a bug that causes this to override the activated parameter when cloning a job.

Thanks for reporting and let me know,
Michael

Hi Michael,

Thanks for looking into this! The particles are indeed helical; I’ve also just tried with some non-helical particles and it appears to work as expected. I didn’t realise that it might be affected by the connected inputs, this is an interesting insight into what cloning does behind the scenes.

Many thanks,

Thanks @DanGonite57 for verifying this for me, I have now recorded this bug

Michael
