while we’re at it - in 3D classification we very frequently now observe the event log loading from beginning to end instead of skipping to end. quickly switching to dashboard and back doesn’t help but quickly switching to Inputs and Parameters and back does jump to the end. Also occasional issues loading 2D event log where we can’t scroll to the end, and occasionally the event log tab not clearing the dashboard screen completely.
Still eagerly awaiting 2D selection that loads by class similarity (as is now default sorting for 2D).
similarly, dashboard is not useful for 2D and an extra feature would be to auto-load the event log upon opening the job card for this and one or two other jobtypes that post the “result” in the log.

Thank you for the feedback and reporting these issues you’ve encountered with the event log.
We have been working on an improved event log to increase utility, stability, and integrate more seamlessly with the dashboard. This will be available in an upcoming release of CryoSPARC, and should resolve the aforementioned issues with data loading.
For 2D Classification (and any additional job types), I wanted to check which results you would expect, or want, to see in the dashboard to make it more useful.

excited for the above updates. hilariously and shamefully I just noticed (after thousands of uses) that the 2D classes are indeed in the dashboard and had been hidden under their tab accidentally all along. i rescind the comment about lack of dashboard utility for some jobs and the related suggestion to auto-open the log tab.
