Custom CTF that does not oscillate around zero

Hello,
I would like to process a defocused STEM dataset with a CTF function obtained from ptychography. This one does not look like it can be modelled with standard TEM-CTF, eg

Is there a way to plug this function into CryoSparc or do I need to multiply outside the SPA software?

I second this request - an option to run a custom python routine instead of standard CTF correction for TEM would be great. I want to process STEM/HAADF data in cryosparc by Richardson-Lucy deconvolution instead of simply turning CTF correction off. Thanks!

Hi @mannda and @mwolf,

As of now, there is currently no way to use any custom CTF functions within CS. We have noted this request. In the meantime, it is possible to pre-correct in another software and then import into CS with CTF Correction turned off.

Best,
