when i run patch CTF estimation, it reported the error message like that: AssertionError: Get rid of patches that are too close to edges
What magnification are you using?
Patch CTF does poorly at very high magnifications. Can be better to use CTFFIND in that situation.

@rbs_sci is correct, patch CTF currently fails at high magnification. However, this is a known problem and it will be fixed in an upcoming release.
