Hi, is there any mechanism in cryoSPARC or cryoSPARC Live to build and export a simplified summary from a cryoSPARC Live session? This could contain statistics summarizing the “Overview”, and or the “Refinement” tabs. Text, PDF, or CSV export of values could be good.
We are looking for a good way to produce standard metrics for the quality of imaging, quality of the sample, and expectations for the refinements.
In previous versions of CryoSPARC, it appeared that you could still view CryoSPARC-Live sessions even if the underlying data was removed. I am still looking for a good solution or preserving long-term information about sessions, while removing old CryoSPARC-Live data. The current document recommends using “archive” a project and offers the “compaction” to reduce preprocessing data. It appears that if the session is “archived” you can still view the project read-only, but you cannot view the session read-only. It would be great if you could still see the CryoSPARC Live session long-term in a read-only view.
Does the “compaction” preserve metadata and thumbnail images, or other items from the preprocessing that would keep a good record?
Do you know of any tools that might help preserve metadata (CTF estimation scores and thumbnails) of the Live session?
Some of this information is removed during session compaction.
Please can you list specific items, such as which thumbnails and which CTF score(s), that you would be interested in preserving in a session snapshot that you could hypothetically create before session compaction?
We here at NeCEN would also be very much interested in this feature. This would allow us monitor system/sample performance over time in a gentle way.
A simple PDF with all the graphs in the Overview window of the Live Session would suffice for us. To be able to grab the data points from all the graphs bundled in a .csv would be a nice extra!
