Could not remove duplicate particles

Hi all,
I’ve introduced some simulated particles into the 2D classification step to bolster faint projections. Consequently, I’m aiming to remove these simulated particles using the “Remove Duplicate Particles” program, but it appears to be ineffective. Does anyone have insights into why this might be the case and how I can resolve this issue?

Those don’t have assigned locations to micrographs so won’t be omitted based on distance. Instead use particles sets tool and do intersect. Full set in A, introduced simulated set in B, choose A-B output
