Copy the project to the other workstation

Dear colleagues,

I want to copy past the project to the new workstation with Cryosparc.

Is it sufficient to :

  1. Copy the Cryosparc folder containing the project
  2. Paste this project into the new workstation Project folder.
  3. Attach the pasted project to the new workstation.

Is that correct?
Do I need to first detach the project from the old workstation before copying it to the new workstation?

What is the proper way to treat the new location of the original movie files on the new workstation?
(The version of Cryosparc is the same on both workstations.)

Thank you.

Kind regards,
Dmitry

You want to ensure that the project directory is protected from modification before beginning the copy. Detaching the project before beginning the copy is therefore a good idea.
An additional caution: Do not again sync the copy’s source directory to the copy’s destination directory after having attached the copy’s destination directory to the destination instance. Corruption of the destination project directory would be the likely outcome.

You would have to find and update symbolic links in the project directory.
